Dow Chemical Global Employee Communications Lead in Marlborough, Massachusetts
Dow Chemical Company is currently seeking a Global Employee Communications Lead for their Marlborough, MA location. This role is responsible for developing and implementing business focused employee communications programs to engage, align and inspire employees and to further employees’ understanding of this cutting-edge business serving the electronics, solar and other industries.

The successful candidate employs a creative mind in pursuit of strategies and programs to bring our new business together, inspire employees and drive growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of creating and deploying employee communications and engagement channels, programs and creative campaigns with a measurable positive impact on employee engagement and business performance.
As an individual contributor, you will: *
Develop global strategic employee communication plans, deliverables and content including key messages, internal articles, videos, town hall presentations, and other content for internal channels to support global business and company objectives. You will also explore ways to leverage and adapt social media strategies and tactics suitable for reaching a global workforce.
Provide guidance and support for other special internal projects.
Coordinate production for campaigns as needed with internal or external resources, and manage a budget.
Create effective internal communication processes and share best practices across the global communications team.
At least 3-5 years’ of internal communications or equivalent experience (as a team member and / or leader) working in internal/employee communications in various disciplines, such as organizational and change communications.
Superb business and creative writing skills. (Content writing samples a must, eg. presentation decks, newsletters, talking points, change plans, etc).
Attention to the details and flawless execution.
Issues management and manufacturing site experience a plus.
Self-starter, ability to work across diverse projects, and can shift from individual contributor to team player.
You know how to ask the right questions and you are a good listener.
Comfortable working with a global employee base.
Must be flexible, able to travel on occasion and can work non-standard hours to hold calls in other time zones, including Asia. International experience a plus.
Passionate about how best-in-class internal communication contributes to employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
