Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Approximately 45 percent of Texas Operations products are shipped out of Marine Terminal. Rail accounts for a further 25 percent, with 20 percent going by pipeline and 10 percent by truck. The Freeport Marine Terminal is Dow’s largest North America marine facility and second globally only to Terneuzen in the Netherlands.
The Freeport terminal is a large marine facility with the capacity to handle several vessels at once. Marine Terminal boasts six docks comprised of 10 barge berths and three deep water berths, providing a safe location for loading and unloading bulk liquids. Approximately 400 deep-sea vessels and 1,500 barges arrive and depart each year.
Around 70 employees work at Marine Terminal, including this role, Run Plant Engineers, Technicians, Process Operators for marine vessels, and Distribution Operators for rail and truck, as well as EH&amp;S, TICA (Technology Implementation for Competitive Advantage) and Maintenance supporting roles. The Senior Administration role is a vital team member contributing to the success of our Operations.

Key Job Responsibilities :
·           Provide general administrative assistance under direction of the Terminal leader, anticipating needs and taking appropriate action to effectively manage daily responsibilities (e.g. calendars, expense reports, meeting arrangements and travel support).     
·           Assist with planning of meetings (e.g. including teleconferencing, and videoconferencing involving on-site and off-site events. Also assist with agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and conference room set-up, food and supplies).

o  Support the EHS organization in all aspects of implementation of IH programs in plants, laboratories and offices;
